The debut of the New X1 was done by BMW at the BMW Joytown festival in Bangalore on 28th Jan 2023. Prices for the SUV's two models, the xLine and M Sport, are Rs 45.90 lakh and 47.90 Lakhs respectively

The FAAR architecture is the foundation for the new BMW X1. This SUV is larger than its predecessor in length, width, and height. Additionally, its wheelbase has grown by 22 mm which means much more leg room for the rear passenger.
Over time, the X1's external style has changed. A bigger kidney grille and updated LED headlights with L-shaped LED daytime running lights are added to the SUV. Additionally, it receives a new front bumper and updated door handles. BMW has also updated the vehicle's look from the back.
The redesigned X1's interior includes a curved display that sits on top of dashboard similar to the new 7 Series, . A 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster are both housed on this display screen.
Along with this, the X1 is equipped with ADAS, automatic tailgate, park assist, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Standard equipment includes sports seats, while the M Sport model adds front-seat massage function.
The 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine that powers the BMW X1 in India produces 132 BHP at 4,400–6,500 rpm and 230 Nm at 1,500–4,000 rpm.
A 2.0-liter diesel engine with 148 BHP at 3,750–4,000 rpm and 360 Nm at 1,500–2,500 rpm is available in the M Sport version.
The two engines are coupled to a front-wheel-drive, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. I miss the Rear Wheel Drive versions of the BMWs - How about you ?
